| Since Bracewell took over our ODI game has lifted considerably but our test form has dropped. I would like to see him focus on that area in particular after the World Cup.

| I think that's wishful thinking BCFL. Bracewell only seems interested in one day cricket - he seems to use test cricket as an experimental play-ground. Also, the Black Caps schedule for the year ahead looks suspiciously short on quality test match opposition. I fear that unless Bracewell shifts his focus considerably after the world cup, then New Zealand could be on the wrong end of a home hiding in Summer 07/08 against England in the tests - although, surprise surprise, they may thump England in the one dayers!! |

| I believe we are only playing two tests this summer? What a joke. But wouldn't be be up to the NZ cricket board to decide the schedule rather than Bracewell or team management. I guess it's all geared towards preparations for the world cup. |

| Well even our ODI form has been a bit questionable. We lost the Chappell Hadlee series, notably thumped in the Eden Park ODI, and had a dismal time in South Africa, lost 5-0. We do win our home series often against some of the lesser teams, ie Sri Lanka and the West Indies, but even they at times were threatening. Even though we are stuffing our schedule with ODI's, its not doing the trick. |
