New Zealand a force.

As an aussie,I must admit I am glad we didn't have to meet the Blackcaps in the WC final,I have great admiration for the team, they can fight more than any other team in the competition, and I think Bond is a "pearler"of a fast bowler,he would be in our team easily, if he had been born on the correct side of the Tasman sea.

GOOD LUCK BLACKCAPS.

Yeah the Kiwis certainly deserve there reputation as a modern day force in ODI's. They are far off in tests either. If they can unearth one more high quality pace bowler, while keeping Bond and Vetorri fit, they will start taking it up to the rest of the test nations for sure.

Coming from a country where Rugby rules, the Black Caps deserve a lot of praise for where they are in terms of world rankings. By regularly beating quality international opponents they have proved themselves to be a far better team then, say India.

Forgive me but I can't see how having both a North Island and South Island team in the Australian domestic calander even if only for limited overs and 20/20 matches would hurt rather than hinder New Zealand cricket.

I would actually like to see them set up a 20/20 tournament similar to the Super 14 format.
