Smile Ian Smith can talk but does not research

Ian is currently commentating on channel 9 in Australia , recently made the comment that "Justin Langer" is not a natural athlete unlike a few of his Aussie team mates (eg the master of the unwanted "text message" Sir Shane "the golden sms'er" Warne .
Dear Ian for your information in 1994 "Justin Langer" was rated "number 3" in Australia , in a overall grouping of the most popular mainstream "Karate" styles.
I suggest if you would like to test out your aspersions about "Justin" not being much of an athlete , you might try to organise a private meeting with him behind a grandstand of your chosing , to test how un-athletic he is.

Justin Langer? The man with a martial arts black belt? Who just scored 215 in 37 degree heat and diddent look botherd??

Ian Smith says a lot of things. God only knows why CH9 would hire him. Surely there was somebody better?

Is this the same guy who is responsible for talking up NZ as favorites against England earlier this year?

Ian's fame was definitely built on the effort and unrewarded hard work that our other great "victorious captain of an Indian subcontinent tour prior to 5/6 star hotel and invention of the microwave" Bill Lawry put in.

Don Bradman maybe god but Gilly sits on his left hand side and Warnie on his right.

What I find annoying is his ability to whinge on and on when the Black Caps are down. I find it really annoying, he is partly why NZ is somewhat overrated at times.

True VVV , he is the epitome of mediocrity acceptance , much the same as Daniel Vettori's test and one day averages.

I suggest "Frodo" and "Geldorf" should be considered for selection , along with Peter Jackson.

Forget the dwarf (obviously David Boon in disguise).

I'd agree with your criticism of Ian Smith, I was at times so frustrated and annoyed with his strictly one-sided comments that I just switched the volume to mute.

NZ is not overrated. Sure they have felt a beating from Australia but which team hasn't felt their wrath before. Enough sly comments about LOTR characters, we make good movies and play good cricket!

Long time no talk NZBeth!

No doubt NZ would not be overated if they had Bond and Carins playing.
