New Zealand Vs Shri Lanka/1st One Day International.>

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cric...al/4114083.stm

New Zealand will hope to take advantage of Sri Lanka's lack of preparation when they meet in the first match of the one day series in Auckland on Sunday.
The Sri Lankan batsmen faced only 10 overs before their opening tour match was rained off, while the second was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

New Zealand will be trying to get back into some kind of form, and have plans to counter Chamander Vaas.

Quote:
The New Zealanders have prepared for the threat of Chaminda Vaas by employing their own left-arm seamer James Franklin in the nets.

I'll be supporting NZ, I have no clue why though. May be it's because of the fact that Sri Lanka have beaten us off late a few times...anyway, NZ always very strong at home, especially ODIs. I think they will win this series. And the match tomorrow.

He he he! NZ batted second, and romped home, Cairns took 4 wickets, Sri Lanka bowled out foe 140 odd , Daryl Tuffey bowled well on his return to the side. NZ chased down the target with out most ease. Stephen Flemming providing good entertainment making 77 not out. Very predictable patern this match has followed. NZ win soo many games in NZ like this.
