What's up mate?

Kiwis will do well in England I think. I expect them to win the series or atleast get a 1-1 draw. The BIG question is how good will Bond be? If he bowls well, you are in for a shot.

Seems Astle will replace Papps and Fleming will open. Not a bad idea. Martin may just be left out for Bond. Very harsh on him. That's the game though.

Btw, don't see you around on the beeb these days?

hello,

i think you're right about papps. unless he puts in some good runs against kent he'll probably lose his spot. a shame as he fuly deserved a try out. the word here is that bond will likely sit out the first test at least with aim to playing a fuller role later on in the tour.

as for the beeb, i've been travelling round a lot without interweb access and NZ switched out of daylight savings - which means that the boards are open from 8pm to 9am here. since i used to waste my bosses time rather than my own by posting while at work this means i'd have to get up early. which isn't very agreeable with me at the moment . . .

Does not bode well going down to a mediocre county side by 9 wickets.

Hope NZ improve, I would like to see a tight series.

Yes. Indeed it's quite a surprising result against Kent. I hope though NZ will bounce back from this defeat and do well in the test matches.

Aaargh! Not looking good I'm afraid, I feel for Chris Cairns during his last Test Match and know he would have liked to pull of a win. I really think our result is due to the long list of injuries which keep piling up. Anyway, better luck next time.
