i wouldnt think that new zealand would have good chance against australia , who can win matches only cairns , vettori and fleming
for australia giclhrist/clarke/symonds can finish it early and i think hayden will produce ,not to mention the best bowlers going around the world today , warne/mcgrath,lee,gillespie,

That's NZ's problem. Yes Fleming IS world class, but he is probably the only kiwi batsman who is.
I think McGrath will target him, but I don't think it will matter in the Test series. Australia is simply a better side.
I wish I could say otherwise as I'd really like to see a contest but that's the truth!

They are capable of putting up a contest, but they will most probably fall short, in the end by some distance.

Bevo, I notice you like making more frank calls like these, eg Bevo is the best ever, McGrath will be unplayable.

Anyhow, I dont believe McGrath will be outright unplayable. I think New Zealand can win A test match, but will need a more than concerted effort to win the series. If Bond and Tuffey play, that is brilliant because New Zealand's batting CAN improve on the Aus tour.

NZ will put up a better fight on their home turf. I believe Bond is a possibility but even if he does play, I don't think you can expect too much as he won't be match fit.
To me the major difference between the two sides is the bowlers. NZ struggle to have Test class bowlers. Even with Bond, they only have Bond and Vettori.

Paoli69, we get enough frank calls from you, plenty in fact. Bevo is entitled to his opinion and i have found his comments to be pretty much right more often than not.
McGrath 4-16 from 9.3 overs - Unplayable, man of the match. Bevo, good call. Paoli69, start eating those words(twenty chews between each letter)

I eat my words, its good to see McGrath bowling as well as he did. Stupid cricket from NZ as well with Marshall's idiotic at best paddle sweep. NZ are gunna have to target Kasper, Lee and even Dizzy in the next few ODI's.

Plenty of frank calls in fact. The only frank calls I remember were on the Murali thread/s. Explain!!

Also apologies to the Great Bevo. He played brilliantly yesterday and i reckon uve got a touch of him with the McGrath is unplayable statement!!!Onya for provin me wrong mate!!
