Back to the thread, NZ have shown they are one innings wonders on numerous times lately...Against England, they're first innings was often respectable, from memory in one test you had only over 200 to chase and failed.....Against Australia, NZ should've made Australia chase an honest 300, instead a paltry 129.

With a vegetable like Bracewell in the job, things need to be reconsidered..

I agree, Bracewell is a liability these days.

How did Fleming go against Shoaib? He struggled against Brett Lee.

Not so well in the recent Pakistan tour, however not many others lasted long against him either.

Hmmm ok. Not many do well against genuine pace. Esp if they don't face it much in their domestic competitions.

For sure, our country has almost no genuine speedsters, apart from Bond.

I have just heard that Martin Sneeden (nzc chief) has said they will present John Wright with an opportunity to caoch his native NZ once he is done with India, Wright's contract with India expires June (I think, I'm not sure, correct me if I'm wrong). John Wright has already said he will not seek a new contract with India once this one expires. He has been in charge of the team for over four years now. And has seen India through one of the more successful periods in their cricketing history. Will he be able to turn the fortunes around for the Kiwis as well?

That's interesting. Wonder if that means they've got concerns about Bracewell? Hmmm
