Apart from Trescothic, Vaughan, Bell, Flintoff, Giles, Hoggard, S Jones, & Harmison you mean?

OK so Straus, and GO Jones could be regarded as wanderers in that they have lived in several different countries during their early years (even if they have only ever played cricket at senior level in England, regard themselves as british and are thoroughly settled in britain.)

Only really Peitersen who wasn't born here and didn't learn his cricket here.

Do you want to disallow everyone in the Australian and NZ team who has at least one non-native parent?
Half of them seem to choose to come to England to work anyway.

England have had a lot more foreigners in the team in the past, without anywhere near the fuss. Could it be jealousy that is causing so many comments now?

Yes, I seem to remember that the Kiwi's weren't too fussy when Dipak Patel and Roger Twose offered themselves up. And the Aussies hardly shoo'd away Keppler when he wanted to play. Doesn't matter who you are, if a decent player want's to settle in your country, and he's good enough to play in your team, you'll take him!

Ask the multitude of South Sea Islanders in the NZ and Aussie rugby sides.

the overabundance of pacific islanders in our rugby union/league sides is just making up for their lack of showing in the cricket team . . .

most of the nz cricket team actually come from australia - well, three
