Not sure about the passport..

I dunno, his commentary sometimes comes off like Navjot Sidhu's did, harping on for hours yet saying absolutely nothing.

Sidhu's the man! "opened him up like a can of beans" , "that shot was as SWEET as candy"

what happened to him?

Back onto topic

Butler being left out - Very poor considering Mills and Tuffey make it. Sure hes inconsistant but being that quick you can afford the odd wayward ball

Sinclair - Well i am utterly digusted at this. He played at performed to an acceptable level throughout the summer which is a ****load more than can be said about Papps who did cose to nothing. Cumming and James Marshall did not make considerable achievements in the summer, certainly not enough to cement a spot in the side.

SKIPPY SHOULD BE THERE!!! not only with a contract but in the starting XI

Totally agree with you mate, on both accounts. I think there is a case of politics between the board and some of the players, and this will hinder the Black Caps's true potential.

Politics in sport is such a contemptible thing.

I don't get it either. What does the NZ cricket side need more than anything? Bowlers! What does NZC do? Leave a genuine fast bowler off their contract list? What the.................. ??????????

Tuffey is a very good Test bowler and you have all jumped on his back after a poor one day series against Australia. He has that McGrath aura about him and when he has some genuine pace around him. i.e Butler, Bond, Franklin then the New Zealand bowling line up like looks very promising.

Butler will be a very good bowler who has natural aggresion and wicket taking ability, its absurd that Mills gets a contract in front of him.

Barn owl, it isn't just Tuffey's recent performances against Australia, he was very poor in England last year in conditions that should have been useful for him. In fact, the main reason that the Kiwis lost 3 - 0 in England was the fact that the bowling attack was very weak. Vettori was out of form, and the bowling line up of Mills, Tuffey and Martin couldn't bowl England out twice. So much so in fact, that James Franklin was called up from the Lancashire club league.

It may be the case that Tuffey is out of form, but its a long period of poor form. Mind you, I'm sure he's more than capable of ripping through Zimbabwe, so maybe he should be playing to find some form?!? Do you seriously believe Tuffey to be a more penetrative bowler than Ian Butler?

I never thought Tuffey was any good, and never jumped on his back for his Australia performance, I already was on his case !

He was hyped up for blowing the Indians away on ridiculous NZ conditions that make Chris Martin look threatening, and from there he leapt up to his five seconds of fame. I always figured that as soon he met some serious class, he would crumble. I guess now we'll see what he is made of.
