| Hi ern, HTML version was probably better but since I must have HTML disabled on this board for security reasons I had to find an alternative way of posting tables. Some HTML codes can be duplicated by creating BB Code equivalents and I tried that for tables ie [ table], [ tr], [ td] etc but I still couldn't get the table to display correctly. I did find a HTML tag which I made a bb code equivalent called a pre tag [ pre]text[ /pre]. The pre element defines preformatted text. The text enclosed in the pre element usually preserves spaces and line breaks. The text renders in a fixed-pitch font. Other formatting tags like [ b]bold[ /b] can be used within the [ pre] tags. In this example, I copied from the cricinfo website to a text editor so that is formatted in text. Then I copied into the post editor and wrapped the text in pre tags [ pre][ /pre]. This preserved the table layout. India innings (50 overs maximum) R B 4 6 Unfortunately, vBulletin automatically inserts the line break tag < br /> after each line which adds a line of space between each row of data. Can't be prevented, I'm afraid. If you didn't use the pre tags the table would look like this: India innings (50 overs maximum) R B 4 6 *SC Ganguly c Vaughan b Harmison 90 119 5 3 VVS Laxman b Harmison 9 27 1 0 M Kaif run out (Collingwood/Jones) 2 10 0 0 V Sehwag c & b Giles 1 2 0 0 R Dravid not out 51 85 3 0 Yuvraj Singh c Giles b Wharf 9 12 0 0 +KKD Karthik c Jones b Harmison 1 12 0 0 Extras (lb 4, w 11, nb 3) 18 Total (6 wickets, 44 overs) 181 Code: India innings (50 overs maximum) R B 4 6 *SC Ganguly c Vaughan b Harmison 90 119 5 3 VVS Laxman b Harmison 9 27 1 0 M Kaif run out (Collingwood/Jones) 2 10 0 0 V Sehwag c & b Giles 1 2 0 0 R Dravid not out 51 85 3 0 Yuvraj Singh c Giles b Wharf 9 12 0 0 +KKD Karthik c Jones b Harmison 1 12 0 0 Extras (lb 4, w 11, nb 3) 18 Total (6 wickets, 44 overs) 181

| ern I've also added a pre tag icon to the message editor so that your table can be block highlighted and the icon clicked to wrap the text with the pre tags.

I had noticed the icon Mike, should get used. I am not keen on the version with the navigation bar, the one after is as good as your original.

| ern, I've extended the code block width to get rid of the horizontal scroll bar. The schedule table is quite wide which is why the scroll bar appeared. I prefer the schedule without the line spacing between the rows. Looks more compact.

| Post 17256 is pleasing to the eye Mike, not crushed up, you can sort of see what you want in one go, very easy to read, neat, but enough to see what you need.
