Another exciting finish today saw Australia hang on to win by 17 runs.

This is turning out to be quite an exciting series really. All of us here expected the Kiwis to get a pasting but they have made Aus work very hard up till now.

Series all set up nicely for the next game. Winner shall take it all.

NZ have a chance I would reckon, but they'd be better off batting first and putting runs on the baord then chasing one has the feeling. With Aus's middle order not quite on fire they will have a better chance of winning that way I reckon.

This series has proved to every one what us kiwis have known for a year now, We are now a true force in international one day cricket. I personally cant wait for the final match were the top 2 sides in the world will meet in a epic battle. I would also like to say good luck to Chris Harris to his recovery after batting with a dislocated shoulder which shows great courage and determination for the cause

Nice to see you mention Harris, I too hope he gets well soon

Certainly difficult to argue against NZ not being the second best one-day team right now, they have won against PK, SA, ENG, WI and BANG this year and their only series losses were against Aus (who knocked them out of the ICC CT) and they now have an ideal opportunity to go a long way in proving that by beating Aus in the final game.

Good luck to both teams

NZ surpriesd me with their batting. They all looked a lot more comfotable, Sinclair especaily looked to be a different batsmen.

I hope that the team managment consider moving Lehman down the order to try and counter these colapses.

First of all I hope that I dont have to remind you that we won, in other words we batted better than you guys. I dont think that anybody "screwed up". We still made 260 and from a NZ team that was six wickets down before they reached 100 I think thats a bit ironic.

My issue is why wickets are falling so quickly. NZ had players who scored in a similer way but stayed at the crease longer.

What a match that was. I think the Kiwi's have proved me wrong, and are indeed a handy ODI line-up.
