Long way to go before the batters can cover up or anything, still plety of overs to go, if Giles (and Vaughan?) bowl well SA can be resrticted to about 275. And then if eng get a proper start Eng will stand a decent chance

And by the way, have I mentioned I'm not a big fan of Eng promoting GJ as an opener, Solanki or Strauss would be better off there opening with Tresco

True but they could not have played Harmy in his state of mind, I think Anderson could have been given another chance, Hoggard is tired after a hard Test Series, was not even selected for the one dayers.

Open question.
Would you fancy fielding on that mess, under poor lights?

If Trescothic or Jones or Pietersen or Colly get shifting on this in poor light it could be as hard for the fielders as the batsmen.
