| the England bowling is so shockingly one paced its untrue! medium pace followed by hittable medium pace..... All the best one day teams look to take wickets with their bowlers. As has been mentioned - when Tresco & Collingwood are being asked to bowl so many overs between them we will forever be struggling to restrict SA under 280!! |

| I'm getting the feeling that, Gough apart, we really do not have a clue how to bowl at the end of the innings in one day matches. |
| | |||
| |||
| The big worry is if England best bowler in ODI's is a 35 year old with dodgy knees ........we are in serious trouble! |
| | |||
| |||
| I know I said i'd rather England won the Test than the one dayers, I didn't want them to perform as pathetically as this though! |
| |||
| Ern suggested earlier that the boundaries were a long way in. Kemp hit seven sixes. I wonder if Tres, Solanki and Kev might manage to use this to their advantage? |
| |||
| Kemp was 'caught' a few times, albeit behind the ropes! I really can't see us chasing this down. |
| |||
| Hoggard's just made Harmison look like a world -beating one day bowler if his figures are any indication of how well he bowled!! |
| |||
| OUCH! Minor miracle needed. |
| |||
| The trouble is when you chase such a big score, you can easily make a mess of it and be 150 all out in 30 overs just trying to keep up with the run rate! hold on....... just like we did in the last game! |
| |||
| Ninety-seven runs from the last eight overs. How pathetic is that ? and Gough went for eighteen off three of them, so that's 79 from the other 5 !!!! Kabir Ali needs to work out how to bowl at the end of an innings before he plays again. Hoggard should be omitted in favour of Anderson, who doesn't do as badly as that! |
