| West Indies won the toss and have asked South Africa to bat first.

| South Africa 284-6 from their 50 overs, and my fantasy team disappearing rapidly round the U-bend. So, we now see WI chasing for the first time in the series, and the stats allegedly tell us that they are better chasers than target setters (not sure by how much, but this was a comment from the Cricinfo text commentator earlier today). Can they get 285? Ought to tip the hat to Dippenaar (123) and Kallis (87) - especially Kallis, because he is in my team. Why are SA persisting with Herschelle Gibbs so far down the order? I know it was his choice, but it doesn't seem to be working. Eleven runs today, making 95 from 3 innings in the series so far - just seems to me to be a bit below what we would expect from him.

| Gibbs might be needed down the order against tougher sides but against WI the tactic is not necesarry. 71-2 WI in need of a Gayle or Lara special.

| Unlikely hatrick hero Langeveldt stole the show. Three wickets to end the game. I feel sorry for the WI they needed some luck didn't get it.

| Feel really sorry for the Windies...such passionate fans there and once again they were subject to have to see their team go down, but in such an unbelievable way! It will be difficult for them to get over this...Hats off to Langeveldt and Dippenaar. Both have made superb comebacks! De Villiers indeed must be wondering when he'd get his next chance! Dippenaar is on fire and he's making very good use of this opportunity. Boje too must be wondering when his next ODI will come! Earlier I thought it wasn't a good idea to play 4 seamers but it has worked like a charm for the Proteas! I just switched on the TV to check Gayle's score and was surprised to see the Windies on the threshhold of victory before Langeveldt came and blew them away! Wow! Watch out for this guy, he's gonna get better!
