I have jsut seen that there is a PCA XI v Australians Twenty20 game tomorrow at 1730BST. The only people we are risking there are Pietersen and Tremlett. So that's OK then!

I'm also more inclined to be cautious about things, but then there's another part of me that never expects the worst to happen. So I'd probably play Flintoff, then go and cry quietly in a dark corner when he gets his hand broken first ball!

As for Twenty-20, if you haven't seen it, you've missed out on something really good to have come into English cricket. I wasn't convinced about it at first, but having watched it at Edgbaston, and on telly, I've been won over. The crowds are good, you can go and watch it after work in midweek, and it's very entertaining. Many of the players enjoy it too. As it's so short, it's pretty intense, and many of the county pros have said that it's helped them sharpen up on things like fielding and running between the wickets. All in all, an excellent innovation.
