Nope, Bangladesh fielders did very well as a matter of fact it is just the poor quality of bowlers that did them badly. Someone came and bowled one over went for 21 by Tresco and they took him off after that. The commentators had a field day mocking him: Poor guy... Plus Tresco and Strauss were firing so accurately, very beautiful shots they would ahve recorder good ODI scores against most bowling line-ups.

Nice for Tresco to get a century on his 100th ODI appearance: Thats his 9th. However that Bangldesh batter who got over 50 may have deserved MOM a lil more simply because he played some resistance when everything else was collapsing.

Is anyone else struggling to watch these matches? They are just so one sided, depressing viewing really. And Bangladesh are going to be involved in 2/3 of the games until the inevitable England vs Australia final.

What makes it worse is 3 out of the four weekend games are Bangledeshi games and both Saturday games are Bangledesh games. This series does nothing for the Bangedeshi cause and highlights how far they have to go before they deserve a place in the elite fold.

Well I was at the game, suprisingly good turn out and atmosphere... But like me many people praobably baulked atthe price of an ODI vs Aus and chose Bangladesh instead. Lots of very excitable Bangaladesh fans who were very quiet in Englands innings - I even felt sorry for them...

I think I rate it as possibly the least intresting days cricket I have been too. I started willing Bangladesh to score runs so I could actually have a proper days play.

Just one final thought there ar 150 Million people in Bangladesh - is Khaled Mahmood really in the best 11 Cricketers in the country. I think he may be the worst player I have ever seen. Out to a fairly awful ball, in ended in the hands of KP who had just been placed there, then bowled the worst over I have ever seen, 70Mph banging it in the middle of the pitch, no wonder Tresco helped himself to some easy runs, plus THREE no balls... truley abject...

I was there too, Flanflinger - Peter May stand.

It wasn't a classic game, I agree, but I admired the ruthless nature of the England batting.

I like the view from the Peter May stadn - I usually try and get seats there. It's fine unless it rains, of course!!!

I've been toying with idea of getting membership with Surrey for years, but I've never got round to it!

Posted just days before Bangladesh somehow beat the Aussies. I'm a genius me.
