Well, his tight jumpers were an amusing feature of lectures!

He had a tendency to start 10 minutes late and finish 5 minutes early, thus giving us no time whatsoever to keep up! I also got a bit bored of speleothem in our karst lectures!

That said, I do like the guy and he is a friendly, approachable chap. Haven't seen him around much recently though....

Anyway, PM if you want to continue - I don't want to hijack this thread. You could tell me who you are in case I've heard of you!
