Bangladesh v Australia - 30th June - Canterbury

Well done to Bangladesh on their recovery,at 19-3 and 75-5 they looked like they were in for a real thrashing again but at least they are setting a reasonable total to defend.Khaled Mashud can be satisfied with his tour, probably should bat higher.

I've only just tuned in, but it does sound like a reasonable score from Bangladesh again, 250-8 off 50 overs. Unfortunately the guys on the radio are talking about rain, which is a shame. Are we going to have another washout here? The forecast for Canterbury on the BBC site doesn't look all that encouraging.

250-8 is a good score.Brett Lee won't be happy with his figures, 2-62 is not good.

Did not here why McGrath is not playing - is he being rested or injury?

Thanks Greg, Lee going for a lot of runs in ODI is not uncommon for him. Not a real fan of his in ODI, lets to many runs go, but can take wickets, I suppose its a balancing act - wickets for runs, but when the wickets don't come it hurts.

The Aussie bowling is starting to concern me just a little. Kaspa and Gillespie are looking very average. Lee, as always, is OK until the shine goes off the ball. Ponting' inability to adapt to changing situations has'nt changed
If McGrath or Warne become unavailable for the Ashes for whatever reason - Australia are in trouble i think.

250 is a competitive score for Bangladesh, they have Hayden out now and with a few more wickets could really have Australia feeling the pressure.

I fully expect Australia to knock off the runs. But if Bangladesh can put them under pressure, with an amazing second defeat at the hands of the Tigers possibly on the cards, who knows what might happen!

3 down. Gilchrist, Hayden and Martyn have all gone. 83 - 3 is the latest score. Good effort so far from Bangladesh, but at least 3 more decent batsmen before they can say they've got a chance!
