| Trescothic, Strauss, Vaughn and Pietersen - all out. This is so disappointing. To get Australia all out for 196 with the awesome batting line up was good, even if the conditions did help. The sky commentators were waxing lyrical about England being well on top at lunch, but have they not remembered that apart from Pietersen's match winning innings, the Aussie bowlers have been totally on top of our batsmen? Trecothic and Strauss have been out each time against the Aussies in exactly the same way each time before only a few runs have been scored each time, surely they must have been practising this in the nets?? Vaughan just cant seem to get going, it doesn't help when he tries to pull McGrath of a reasonable length ball. Pietersen, well, he did get a reasonable ball. Mind you, I thought England made a mistake by allowing Trescothic and Strauss to smack Bangladesh around the park in the tests and one-dayers when they should have retired them and given Englands middle order a chance to get their eye in... |

| Flintoff looks in good form. It's up to him and Collingwood now.

| Scrub that last comment. Collingwood droped and Flintoff caught next ball.

| Not the sort of pitch I like to see for a one day final. Mcgrah and Lee creating havoc. Snice I enetered this site I have been proven wrong about many things. Although one of the things I don't think i have been proved wrong about is asking why Vaughan is still in the one day side? It remains a complete mystery to me. Flintoff gone. Englands chances gone.

| I'm so embarrassed. 33-5. I can hear the Aussie chants now, "same old England" and sniggering. Jones has come in and has been wafting outside the off stump, what the heck are they all doing? Why dont they just let them go, wait for the ball to be straighter and score from that??? |

| Beats the sniggering and cries of 'the old aussies are past it'.

| It's proably a mystery to Vaughan himself how he remains in the ODI side. He proably goes to the pub and says they keep on picking me I don't really understand why?
