Tresco is in good nick.
Vaughan has got a hundred in each of his last 3 innings at Lords
Pietersen is averaging over 100 in 1 day cricket.
Flintoff needs runs
Colly is having a great season.
Somebody want to pull up Strauss' and Tresco's form against the aussies in this series? Not very good I'm willing to bet.
Vaughn hasent scored a ODI ton in ages
Flintoff needing runs is hardly an upside

Vaughan is yet to get a 1 day ton but averages 44 in last 20 1 day matches. Gillespie hasn't exactly bowled well in the series either.

History is irrelevant. In cricket, you are only as good as your next innings.

Strauss has been getting blasted out by the Aussies so far on GOOD wickets.

Tell that to McGrath who has knocked him over cheaply in both games.

Not on this wicket against this attack in these conditions

An over inflated average. Will be curtailed totay as his technique is not up to these conditions.

I am talking about scoring runs, not catches and run outs
This wicket will be a low scoring one and England will struggle. The Aussie bowlers have been waiting for a wicket like this one to get into form. 180 runs will be enough

179-8, Lee doesn't like it short and quick.Be interesting to see how Freddie copes when he has to bat against Lee.

Glad Vaughan won the toss otherwise I would have had to listen to how unlucky Vaughan has been with the toss from the commentators.
England bowling well especially Harmison and Flintoff. Only Hussey looking comfortable.

196 all out. Bit of a strange thing to do by McGrath, surely should have blocked those 2 balls and let Hussey score some more.

I've been very impressed by G.Jones keeping today and for the whole series. He has hardly put a foot wrong.
