Good to see Clarke go.Need to bowl them out for less than 175,any more than that will be tough to chase down.

It's going to be tough to win this match in these conditions because we have bowled utter dross but despite this Ponting has failed again. You will be quick to mention it if Tresco or Strauss get a low score so why can't i mention Ponting being out of form?
Tresco getting caught in the slips with his feet firmly planted and no idea of whats going on. As well as Strauss getting bowled in the same area every time- is poor form. Getting caught on the boundry is not poor form... At least not in the same way. Lets not also forget the difference in scores.

Your first statment is true .

Tresco on Saturday was playing a genuine 1 day shot, trying to run it down to third man, sadly he forgot that there were 2 slips in and gave out catching practice.

Dunno if this has been said yet or not, but my bet is Solanki to be subbed for Giles as I can't see El Monarch getting much bowling on this pitch.

But if Ponting was in form he would have hit it for 6 or not played the shot in the first place.

But Giles' batting may be rquired. Better to bring in Solanki at half-way point for the weakest bat, ie Harmison/Jones.

Jones has bowled out so why not swap him and Solanki,Giles is a better bat.
