This is a very good score for Aussies but its also contestable...

Solanki coming in will be a huge bonus as we have 9 batsmen who can do some very good damage... I think we can do it but we ahve to apporach it right. Also not play too many stupid shots

Yeah, I reckon 219 is a very good score on here, it's the first time that Australia have had a good flurry at the end against us.

I think the only way we would win would be for Australia to not bowl too well and for the sun to stay out.

Now, for gods sake Trescothic and Strauss, you know what type of balls you're going to get, look as if you're ready for it at least!!!

well it's a chance to see if we learnt anything from saturdays debacle. 219 would appear to be a decent enough score, but with wickets in hand at the end of an innings it's entirely gettable with sensible batting, but then so was 197.

I think australia have the upper hand because mcgrath, hussey and watson are the ideal type of bowlers for these conditions. It will be interesting to see if we force them to bowl us out though or we through another fit of divvy batting and balls it up.

Well i've seen enough and i am off to bed. Tresc and Strauss are batting very sensibly. The damned sun is out and has dried the wicket up nicely and it is playing well now. England will win this one well i think.

Super catch from Gilchrist, but Strauss should leave that reverse sweep alone. Warne said something about Strauss and the reverse sweep a while ago.

We should have sent out someone else to increase the run rate just a lil bit! If another fell, then Vaughan could have come out to settle a lil bit!!

Tresco gets his big 50 up!! Answers a few critics!
