Afridi as an opener? Not if McGrath is bowling like he was today, you need a proper batsman against quality opening bowling in conditions which assist the bowler.

I feel releived that Inzi is not there, what if he turned up the same performance as the other 'stars' did?

Dravid is class and Pietersen has an ODI average in the seventies, I'd drop Sehwag instead if Inzi was to be brought in.

Personally I would drop Kallis in favour of Inzamam.

I just find it so bizarre that a batting line-up of that calibre didn't even look like overhauling 256. The australian bowling line-up is world class to open with, but Bracken, Watson and co. giving them this much trouble? Very strange..

Watson has improved his bowling a whole bunch judging by what I saw the other night and could find himself in the test team.

But why didn't White get a bowl? If we're touting this kid to be the next King of Spin (hopefully he doesn't turn out like the King Of Spain!!!) then chuck him in the deep end.

Why are they playing all three matches in the same place? That seems a really stupid idea to me.

Three reasons;

1-Sponsors know they're going to get a result because of the roof
2-People will go if they know there is going to be a result
3-The Australian weather is unperdicatble at the current time.

I suppose they are fair enough as reasons go. Are the same people going to attend all three matches though? The crowd at the first one was hardly huge. I wonder if the support stays the same whether or not a rethink is is order.

Ok....

1. The first match was a Wednesday; middle of the working week, a majority of the crowd would've been a few cricket lovers who took the day off work, shift workers, unemployed and school children, perhaps even the retired.
2. Tomorrow's match will get a bigger crowd, alot of guys from my school are giving fake orthodontist notes to leave at 1pm to catch the start, a lot of people will leave work at around 4pm to go and the crowd will be bigger.
3. Sunday, weekend. Should be a good crowd.
4. Ticket prices are expensive.
