But it's Melbourne we are talking about. A city that used to have capacity crowds for sporting events that was not even played much in Victoria; or any musical concert for that matter, that's why it's surprising. Let's just hope that being a weekday was the main reason for a low turnout by Melbourne standards and not some of the reasons mentioned by Sambit Bal in his writeup.
