and malik is going to australia,,,he will not be available for first two odis,,,,he is not a very good opener,,,should try any new lad like faisal ather,khaled latif,,,or stick with any older opener like yasir hameed,and taufeeq umer ,,,,,

Afridi has said on numerous occasions he preffers to open the innings in limited overs cricket and bat at 8 in tests.

Would be interesting to note how Pakistan will use the super sub rule - we haven't played before under it.

yes zainub this is a different decision for pakistan and how they will use super sub its first and it will be confusing for pakistan

On the super sub rule though, yes, could be quite confusing. I suppose it would allow some one like Kaneria to have a dig in the one-day side, he's not a regular for us in there.

Shaid Afridi is a oppener. OK when ever he scores and hits big, Pakistan are always at a great position. Shaid afrdi is a opener he gets Pakistan great starts and when he bats down we dont even het to see a lot of him.
