Uham - I would like to think that England would like to play more games in Karachi in the future. Even listening to the radio on the way to work this morning, the atmosphere at the ground seemed electric and it does seem unfair to starve the cricket fans of Karachi their fix of watching their team! However, I don't think the restriction to only one ODI is anything to do with the place or the atmosphere of the ground. If it was solely down to that, then more fixtures would be played in Karachi. The problem is that the security issues in Karachi seem to be much greater than those at Lahore or Faisalabad. We can only hope that in the future that the security issues currently a concern throughout the world ease in the next few years to allow the PCB to play their cricket wherever they like. I certainly hope that Pakistan will not need to use Sharjah as a 'home ground' again!!!

Prior runs himself out backing up too far. Trescothick played the ball down and got in a tangle trying to hop over it. Prior thought Trescothick was coming. Akhtar grabbed the ball on his follow-through, swung and threw the wickets down at the non-strikers end with Prior scrambling to make his ground. "Shambolic" as described by David Lloyd.

Tony Hill has made some very odd decisions in the last half-hour.

Starting off with a wide that was so wide it was taken by first slip, but wasn't given; to not warning Shoiab, then warning him, then making a meal of the high-full toss. Now he has just called wide to a reasonalby good ball.

All very bizarre

Tresco out....rot starts here?
