England are in shocking form... Well done to Pakistans bowlers though, Rana bolwed brilliantly at the tope of the innings

I know you wasn't Vrock , the tail end played OK.

The batting is a worry I have thought so long before the Ashes, this series was one series to many, the bowling could not carry them this time.
Also in regard to the Tests why did England play two spinners hoping to match Pakistan on their own patch.

Pakistan to be fair have a great batting line up, that will be tested in English conditions, I think these results will make Englands home series just that bit more interesting.

England's batting is just too inconsistent. I think we all knew before the one daye series that England would be mostly relying on Trescothick, KP and Freddie to get most of their runs but it hasn't worked out. Tres is having a quiet series, KP made a good score in one match but he's gone home and Flintoff can't do it all on his own. The rest of them need to start making a few too.

How reliant are England on Tresco these days? Seems like if he makes runs they're in the match, if he doesn't they are done for. Except of course that they won the first match of the series without much from him but in general I think it's true.

Fair dues to Pakistan, they look like a very good side at the moment and an emerging one to boot. England will be having nightmares about Inzi for years to come. What's his combined average over the tests and one dayers? About 100?

Oh, come on, ILA: you worked that out in advance, didn't you? He has 601 runs after the fourth ODI and has lost his wicket six times, for an average of 100.16.

Very true Irish Left Armer, we do seem to just rely on one batsmen...

There is one option for England, switch the order of the batsmen around, let the tail-enders start, hopefully get some good starts like they seem to be doing (And their starts can't be much worse than Prior's, Strauss's) then our 'main' batsmen can come in and surely they can do wht the tailenders were doing AND better, cause the Pakistan bowling unit will be more tired.. hehe What do you think?

And two of those six dismissals are "freakish": the run-out that wasn't, and the run-out due to the declaration - prior to these two, he had only three other run-outs in his entire 170 career innings.

Hmmm. And there was the plumb lbw at Faisalabad to Udal on 30 in the first innings that wasn't given. And then in the second innings Flintoff had him in front of all three only for thr umpire not to bother putting his finger up.

Great series from a great batsman. He suffered a little bad luck at times but enjoyed some good fortune when he(and Pakistan) needed it. And doesn't he make you pay!!! Top man, great to watch, a real inspiration to us all!

There's lots of problems with statistics, of course, but the input numbers are solid! If he's out, he's out: I can't work out how to build "freakish" (or "should have been", NE!) in to the calculations, I'm afraid!

I'm glad we will be seeing the back of Inzy for a few months. He has been an absolute pain throughout the tour!
