Really can't believe what I have just seen.

We are going along very nicely, but Blackwell decides that running straight is not the best option and has turned 22 yards into 24!!

Mad...

England had become favourites with Blackwell there, can Ali farm the strike from Anderson-not that many needed.

Silly Blackwell.

Things were just looking very interesting, just think how much of a boost it would have been if we'd have won this game from such a bad position. We would have gone into the last game on a real high.

Blackwell ran at an angle and also started to straighten up instead of lunging forward, what the hell was he doing after all that good work. Infuriating.

This is Blackwell's problem, very talented - great sticker of the ball, spins the ball with nice flight - but he just doesn't seem to engage brain!!

He is also still looking slightly out of shape...

Yes he did not need to take the scenic route, he was batting as well as anyone.

If Ali can score the runs, Anderson used to be the most not out batsman in the England team.

Hmmm. Methinks there's a good reason for him being Number Eleven.

Well, quite. Surely the objective is not for Anderson to hit it, but as far as possible for him to keep out of the way. I'd rather see Kabir Ali facing the balls and scoring them in even numbers all the way to the end of the over!

But Kabir Ali's not really that good. He's OK but not really up to shepherding a rabbit through 40 runs to a crazy victory, surely?
