Regardless of this, Tendulkar was shown laughing afterwards finding the funny side of the whole thing. Clarke was just scowling as if he has no enjoyment for the game other than winning at all costs.
I thought that was quite unnecessary on Clarke's part. It was a funny sight indeed....I had never before seen a bowler hold on to a batsman like that to stop a single. At this rate, Hayden's wish of boxing will soon come true on the cricket field itself.

I thought Dohni's comments after the match were the most prophetic.

"We including "Bahji" are going home tommorow, I dont know who's going to go on the front page of the Australian newspapers now ?

Michael Jackson maybe ?

I had to laugh when i saw that Australia are considering resting players as they are tired.

England play more cricket than Australia yet when we mention burnout it is laughed off as a pathetic excuse.Perhaps we were right all along.

Yeah what a joke.

I think CA should accommodate them by telling them they can't play IPL because they need rest instead.

I don't reckon they were tired anyway. Watching them in the field, they were buzzing around like the first day of a test.

Fact is, form is fleeting and some of those guys must understand that. Ponting wasn't tired. Basically India have the wood on him - always have every time he has come up against them.

I thought the game was a cracker. Sitting down at the start of the day i said to my mate that i hope India get 250 and Australia chase it down in the final over with 9 wickets down. And it almost happened. So close..

The only disappointment for me was missing Gilchrist's final innings. Went over the road for a beer during the break and missed the start of Australia's innings.

Saw Symonds take out the streaker at least
