Question Best ODI Line Up-3

So the openers have been selected and its time to choose the number 3. Often regarded as the most important Batting position. I have left out the sepacialist openers but kept the ones who have in past batted at no 3.

The team so far:-

Adam Gilchirist
Sachin Tendulkar

It surely can ONLY be Viv Richards. An average of nearly 60 at number 3 at almost a run a ball (at a time when very few players averaged over 35). No other player has come anywhere near to achieving this.

Before I vote: I see that multiple selection has been enabled. Are we supposed to vote for more than one option?

I was half asleep and voted for Lara before realising that Richards was on the list. Doh! Richards for me, the man's an utter legend.

Yes, i enabled the multiple choice options. I just thought may be number 3 being such an important position, people would want to vote more than one player

I have a suggestion- why don't you make the second-most popular choice the no. 4? It looks like Richards is the frontrunner for the no. 3, with Kallis and Lara joint second- but who can you put as the no. 4 option, who isn't already listed?

I think the no 3 position is a lot different from no 4. Someone like kallis might be a good option for no 3 but not for no 4. Someone more aggresive like ponting, lara or kp might be the perfect choice.

It would have been nice to have had the option of Lara as opener. He was possibly at his best when going in first up.
