Hussey and Klusener finished on equal points, so why has Klusener been given the nod? In fact, both Milo and I expressed reservations about having him, which can't be shown on the poll. No such reservations were expressed about Hussey, so I think that should be the tie-breaker.

I have to say if Klusener gets picked this team is going to look ridiculous. Only three specialised batsmen in the top 6. How many bowlers are going to be in this team???

My mistake.

Anyhow, if Huss didn't get in last time he should most certainly get in this time. Having another allrounder on top of Kallis and Klusener is simply going to be surplus to requirements, unless you'd consider another 'keeper at 8, which I strongly doubt. Four bowlers plus Kallis plus Klusener is all the bowling you'd need, and choosing another bowling option is just plain silly.

Well I cannot vote for Rhodes strongly enough. Obviously the rest of the positions are going to be filled by bowlers (or bowling allrounders). So if you pick Botham, you've got 7 bowling options, which no team should ever need. So effectively, by picking both Botham and Klusener, one of those spots would be wasted.

I would also vote for Rhodes over Botham...
he is really not a 7 though a 6 or a 5...could really be swapped over with Klusener...

I've been watching this process and wondering when this would happen, it's a very difficult way to pick a best of side. While you may end up with the best players in each position you wont get the best possible team.

I'd be tempted to nominate Andrew Symonds at this stage to bring back a bit of batting balance.
