Unhappy Harbhajan slaps shreesanth

Shreesanth bust into tears after the match ended between Punjab and Mumbai. On being asked by the media, he reveiled that harbhajan had slapped him on the face in the dressing room. There was then a meeting held and lalit modi said that the incident will be reported to the bcci. Yuvraj and tom moddy said in the press conference afterwards that this kind of behaviour was unacceptable. Harbhajan too apologized for his actions. I just wonder what storm this incident will create in the indian squad.

sounds very ugly
This is what one can expect from this over hyped attention crazy fellas(both bhaji and sree)
it will be great for the future of Indian team/ipl if the selectors leave out these two idiots out of the squad for the future matches
they are really an embarrassment for every one around them (especially Indian Team)

Bit of an over reaction me thinks

At the end of the day, thinks got a tad heated, actions were made that Harb regrets, maybe provoked, we dont know. Still, no need for such actions, and he will get some sort of punishment it seems.

Although there has been controversy over these 2 guys in the past, no idea why you would want 2 such lively lads off the intl scene, Sree spices it up whenever i watch the action We all know what Harb can do off the field, but he too is a quality spinner and wont be dropped in a hurry i reckon.

Exactly, i think the last thing cricket needs is to take characters out of it. These kind of players make the game more interesting to watch. You just cant have all nice guys in cricket. You need guys who can spice the game up. And also being a little more aggresive than others doesnt make them bad boys at the end of the day. Its just there nature and the way they are brought up. I am sure there must have been a reason for harbhajan's actions. But i dont think he would like to make them public and wouldn't like to start another controversy.

i mean it to the core wilyoldfox

i am tired of these two fellas over-antics (we don't need another controversy and media trial)

its not an over reaction,if you analyse last 2 years record of harbhajan one can understand my feelings

These guys mistaken their fake aggression as a real one, by the way being aggressive does not mean one have to behave like a school going kid.Our cricketers can better learn it from saffers and aussies or even our smaller neighbor srilanka(if none works then learn from our very own Kumble)

these guys are definitely not a role model for the game

I stand by my statement both Bhaji and Sreesanth are Embarrassment for the game

You dont understand you need all kind of players. And itsn't that things like these didnt happen in the past, it just that they never went outside the dressing rooms. As far as embarrasments are concerned, its absolute nonsense. Every sport has players like these. Ian Botham in his time wasn even a bigger controversy, but people still call him one of the best all rounders the world has ever seen.
My point is labeling a player as an embarrasment for the game just because he is more aggresive than others is rubbish.

Harbhajan is an over hyped product of indian media(especially sunil gavaskar, ravi shastri and harsha bhogle)
except for a very brief period of time in 2001-2002 season he never looked like winning a test series on his own
in the last 3 years his cricketing record is abysmal to say least but his bad boy image and showing disrepute to the game has grown considerably(again courtesy espn commentary team and indian media for hyping him very big)
in my book both harbhajan and sreesanth will come under wussies with super fake aggression?
