| Hello everyone. After a poor start Essex have clawed it back through excellent use of taking the pace off the ball. Their poor fielding, however, could still allow Kent a good total. Can one of the Kent players create mayhem for 3 overs? Would fancy Essex to chase 165. |

| Was always going to be Kent v Middlesex in my opinion, with Kent the ultimate winners I think. Durhams batting has looked really dodgy in the last two games I've watched them, although they have a great bowling attack. Kent are a really strong T20 side and I think Rob Key is an excellent T20 captain. They also have two excellent 'death' bowlers in Mahmood and Arafat, which makes scoring heavily in the last 5 overs pretty tricky. On the other hand Middx have won more T20 matches than anyone else. The final should be Kent v Middx, with Kent slight favourites for me, shame I won't see it, it should be a real cracker. Great to see 3 out of the 4 semi-finalists are SE counties and the final probably 2 SE counties, shame Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex couldn't have done better. |

| My word, how right you were. To be honest, when Middlesex piled on 187 I honestly thought Kent would get nowhere near, we never seem to score that many (and having checked, had we pulled it off it would have been Kent's highest ever t20 innings total). Shah was outstanding with the bat, Udal and Kartik bowled really well, and Joyce the captain used a couple of good bowling changes - Nannes in the middle overs for a one-over spell turned out to be a very good idea in the end. Kemp picked a bloody good time to find some form with the bat, oh for just three more runs..... Absolutely fantastic game though.

| Yep, had to watch the highlights from 12.30 to 2.30am as i missed the original, was a belter. Rob Key is a fantastic captain yes, but how bad did you feel for him at the end! After he went for 50, the task just seemed to increase, with 16 off the last over. Henderson was battered for 10 off 3, including that oh so horrible throw by Dawid Malan But with 3 needed off the last 2 balls, somehow 2 full, straight balls couldnt be disposed of by non other that Justin Kemp himself, after earlier being dropped by skip Ed Joyce ![]() Cracker, good luck to Middlesex in the money spinning fixtures laying ahead for them

| Credit to both teams for laying on a run fest when many pundits were predicting a slowing down of the wicket throughout the day. Kent have great strength in their batting and very good all-round ability, but I feel they are a little short in top quality bowling. Robert Key seems to be turning himself into that rarest of things - an orthodox English batsman who can attack at the top of the innings. While his record is encouraging rather than awesome I would prefer someone like this to be tried for England rather than any variety of experimental pinch-hitter. |

| Heh, understatement of the century there I think.
