My God, this is crazy stuff! Michael Hussey butchers NZL-bowlers and then Styris-McCullum inflict greater pain on the Aussies! Unbelievable!

World Record Chase

What a match!! Great win for New Zealand to put the heartbreak of Wellington out of their minds and come back and win chasing 332. Mccullum is really turning out to be a great finisher for NZ. And Vettori played a captains role to guide his team home. Who won the man of the match? Couldnt see it!!

Incredibly well played by NZ. Interesting to see that both sides lost their openers relatively early on, whether this has much meaning I'm not sure. Australia's bowling unit is certainly missing McGrath. Great knock by Styris, showing why he is in the side!

Great credit to NZ for getting the runs..... but if ever a team had a chance of getting a total such as that against Australia....i think a bowling side of Bracken, Lewis, johnson, Clark, white & symonds would be my pick too!!!.

Can`t believe the aussies will make the mistake of putting out a shambles such as that again..........yes they think they`ve got batsmen who should put a game beyond any side..... but alas this isn`t the case as the kiwis nearly proved twice.

Have Australia ever thought of batting Mike Hussey further up the order. He is in blistering one-day form at the moment, let alone test also. He is difficult to get out and can knock the ball around for one's and two's and he can also smash it for six.

Absolutely brillaint game, reinforces the what-ifs of the second game and the what-the-hells of the first game

Kiwi bowling was a shambles at the death but our mid-lower order did the business, good to see Hamish getting in the runs (a bit) though i think he might be well-served by playing state matches in place of the first couple of Sri Lankan ODIs coming up after xmas.

Is there any other team who have 10 international century makers in their batting line-up?

Hopefully the whole team gets a couple of state matches before the Sri Lankan series. McMillan's hopelessly out of form and a few of the bowlers need some game time

Well Marshall twins got 2 and 4 respectively today on the first day of their match for N.D. so hopefully they get some time out in the middle in the second innings, well maybe just Hamish, James isn't ready for international cricket, unless they realise that A) he's not an opener and B) he's not a pinch-hitter.

pfff, that win was nothing. Australia was only testing some young bowlers out. We wen't even at full strenght.

Lee and McGrath were rested, if they played we would have destroyed NZ.

I don't care if the bowling attack was the Eastern Ballarat 2nd XI, no team should lose a game after piling on 330.

Especially to the NZ batting line up - half of the top order have now been dropped because they're hopelessly out of form
