| Super-subs: Keep 'em or bin 'em? The new ODI regulation allowing for the use of so-called "super-subs" was introduced in July on a trial basis for ten months, and the first game played under the new rules was between England and Australia on 7 July. We're half way through the evaluation period now and many of us have seen plenty of games featuring this new rule. What do we think? Is it a good enough change to keep, or should it go to the waste paper basket next May?

| I hate the idea, it's ridiculous - 11 against 11 please!

| Supersub brings a new element to the game and I reckon its a good idea because when an ODI looks like its all but other, the team can use a supersub and try and turn things around, like Vikram Solanki getting that half century at No 8...I believe teams should be able to name their supersub after the toss. |

| But it was brought in to make ODI's more exciting. With players like Afridi, Lee, Freddie, KP and Symonds they are more exciting than ever - how many boring ODi's have people seen recently - precious few I reckon.

| The game of cricket has been played by 11 players against 11 players for a long time, there was nothing wrong with that, so why did it need to change? Anyway, the rule favours the team that wins the toss because both teams have to name a super sub before the toss and they choose the super sub in the hope that they will win the toss.

| I've never liked the idea. Your 11 is your 11 is your 11, and should only be changed if there's an injury to a player. I'd allow subs then, but not as a tactic. |
