| The World Cup is at the beginning of 2007 so i imagine all the players would still be pl;aying.A few may retire afterwards though. |

| If it was going to be anyone, it would be Jayasuria IMO. He has recently been dropped due to his injury, his form hasn't been great but I still think that it would be unlikely for even him to retire.

| yes, ponting is a classy batsman, although he didnt perform to well in the ashes, he proved himself against West indies... in the poll, i voted for hayden, may retire from one-day squad by then, though it is more likely that they all will retire after the world cup... |

| Hayden doesn't play ODIs anyways... |

o ok. Langer doesn't. Hayden does, opens with Gilly, does pretty well too |
| ||||
| Hayden was taking out of the Aussie one day side during the super series or prior I think. Katich now opens the batting with Gilchrist.

| hmmm im not sure about katich... he can do some spin bowling, and batting but his form has degraded, he struggles to play reverse and conventional swing, hes the type of player who attacks spinners or fast bowlers who don't swing the ball |
