U19 World Cup - the officials

Don't know if this the right place to put this, happy for it to be moved

http://www.icc-cricket.com/icc-u19wc...ry/230483.html

Very confused by the officials chosen for the U19 World Cup. There are no Umpires from England, England has one of the few First Class set ups with full-time professional umpires, and yet none have been included... they even managed to drag in a German!!

I would understand if it was during the English season, but it takes place in February!!

Match Referees

Roshan Mahanama (Sri Lanka) - Emirates Elite Panel
Alan Hurst (Australia) - Emirates Elite Panel

Umpires

Paul Baldwin (Germany) - Associate & Affiliate Panel
Gary Baxter (New Zealand) - Emirates International Panel
Steve Davis (Australia) - Emirates International Panel
Asoka de Silva (Sri Lanka) - Emirates International Panel
Roger Dill (Bermuda) - Associate & Affiliate Panel
Billy Doctrove (West Indies) - Emirates International Panel
Nadeem Ghauri (Pakistan) - Emirates International Panel
Shahul Hameed (Indonesia) - Associate & Affiliate Panel
Krishna Hariharan (India) - Emirates International Panel
Trevor Henry (Ireland) - Associate & Affiliate Panel
Peter Manuel (Sri Lanka) - Emirates International Panel
Tyron Wijewardena (Sri Lanka) - Emirates International Panel

Well the fact theres an Irish person I spose can count as a British Isles one (grapping at straws maybe). However a Germany? Now for all I know he could be one of the best there, but I never knew that Germany at any sort of interest. Kudos to him though.

Only guessing, but I imagine Paul Baldwin is Mister rather than Herr Baldwin.
