| Paoli69, fortunately, for the crowd, SA didn't win the toss. Had they, and batted first, the match would have been over in about 31 overs because Australia were 127 after 13 overs in their innings. Almost 25% of the available overs would not have been required. Is that acceptable? Perhaps, Australia would have paced themselves a bit more and used up a few more overs to reach their target but then the crowd would have missed some power batting. |

| What if South Africa had batted first, would they have gone about getting a score a little less aggresively? When you need 10+ per over you feel you have to hit the ball hard and go for boundaries but when setting a score you're not always as aggresive. So SA could have made a better score.

| one thing i dont understand about some batsman when they are batting during a twenty20 match is that technique is thrown out the window. has anyone else ever noticed that players hit the ball harder using conventional shots than wildly swinging. They also have more control where the ball is going. |
