I wouldnt be suprised if they brought in something like that, after the crap things at have been brought into the oneday game, for example Super Subs and Power Plays, and of course Twenty20 Cricket.Oneday cricket was already a travesty against real cricket, there just making it worse.

I am all in favour of this 25x4 format but as a replacement for Twenty20 cricket and not the regular ODIs. Ofcourse there's nothing like a hard-fought test match (and India winning it!).

Yes, mabey that is so but couldn't you say that about test cricket. Those batting second generally have the disadvantage of having to have a run chase and batting on a wicket a few days old. Its jus the way things go.

Jim Maxwell of ABC radio touched on 2 x 25 breifly during his commentary of the Aust vs RSA match yesterday, he was going to discuss it more during the break unfortunately my station took the news and current affairs. Did anyone hear what he had to say ?
