I'm not exactly sure what they can learn from the juniors. The ball was spooning in like a banana and I think even top class players today couldn't have played this bowling greatly. Also the Pakistani bowlers were giving away lots of extras. If you want the senior Pakistan side to give away lots of extras then fine but I very much doubt they will win too many games.

even a little kid will agree with you there, there were giving too many extra, 16 extras noramlly from Anwar Ali but at the end of the day what counts is whos win the game and pakistan won it. but take my advise don't take no advise do what the captain says iv got that in my mind. Forget junior if i do take their advise you will see me on the bottom of the Scorcard.

Didn't see the game but when you look at the scorecard you automatically think it was a poor pitch.Either that or both sides have got some decent bowlers in the locker.

The quicks were getting the ball to swing like crazy. And Chawla for India took 4 for 8 in 8 overs with some brilliant spin bowling. The pitch looked okay to me.

So who are the players do you think will actually go on to play for their senior team? One player I'm sure about is Piyush Chawla. Never know, he might just end up playing the World Cup next year!

Congrats to Pakistani Under 19 team for winning the under 19 world cup. Any team which can't chase 109 runs doesnt deserve to be called as world champions. The Indians were ultra defensive and ultimately lost their wickets. I'm sure Anwer Ali khan will play for Pakistan in the near future.

Rineet, were you watching the game?

The Indians weren't exactly playing ultra defensively but they were facing some great bowling in part and the ball was swinging immensely. Most top teams would struggle against that kind of bowling IMO.

I am with you on that all the way. India couldn't chase 109 runs from 50 over that is just shamful but then again they tired thire hardest so i got to give them credit for that. Everyone or team messes up once a while, i guess it wasnt India day today why is it every time india plays Pakistan they alwayz loose first then make a come back that is weird like The ODI they lost the 1st ODI then wrap the other 4 ODI.

Vrock7, ofcourse I was watching the game... The Indians played with a defensive mindset.. Rather than playing their natural game.. It seemed as if their minds were so pre-occupied by the fact that the only way they could lose the game was by getting all-out. Some of the top-order batsmen got bowled trying to leave the deliveries, although these deliveries were too good. But they had no intention of putting bat to ball.
