U-19 World Cup 2006

This is the thread for the U-19 World Cup 2006. It commences from the 5th of this month but they already have had a couple rounds of warmup matches. Here are some of the main results- PAK bt AUS by 41 runs, WI bt hosts SrL by 87 runs (WI seamer Kemar Roch even took a hattrick!). Then ENG bt IND by 28 runs, thanks to Englands spinners! SAF bt NZL by 5 wkts and SRL bt PAK by 78 runs. Any idea which channel would be airing this tournament?

Hmm, It says on Cricinfo that only the SuperLeague games, the semis and the finals would be shown on TV.

Thumbs up Its semi-final time!

The U-19 WC is down to the semis! It'll be India v England and Pakistan v Australia.

I think England have a good chance after beating one of the favourites, Bangladesh, in the quarters. I think both games will be relatively low scoring and the bowlers will dominate. I predict England vs. Australia final.
