Pakistan 265-5 in 40.2 overs. The required RR is 6.62 and current RR is 6.57. Pakistan can still win it from here. Inzamam needs to stay there for a few more over at least.

Now.....Pakistan has been declared winners for the match. Cant do anything about it, but think the match could have gone either way.

Pakistan were the better team and they won deservingly. Mohd Asif bowled like a champion even on such a flat track. Rana was good too. I think Yuvraj's dismissal was the turning point. Had he stayed longer India could have easily gone past 350 and things surely could have ended on a different note...

I would be very disapooitnted if i was Indian suporter. I know that pakistan won according to the rules so no one can complain but declaring a match won when it has not finished will always annoy me because the match could of gone either way.

That's the beauty of D/L, can you just expect a game to be classed as void if they have to stop for light from the umpires. I think it would have been good for the game to end but that's the way cricket goes.

Good knock from Sachin...that'll keep the critics off him for another game

Salman terrorised the Indian bowlers again with his 3rd career century, the previous two were also scored against India! The thing which won the match for Pakistan was the excellent bowling they did in the last 6 overs.

The score would have diffinatly gone to 350+ if it wasn't for Mohammed Asif's very economical bowling, he is looking like a great fast bowling prospect, giving only 30 runs in his spell compared to the other bowlers who had an economy of over 5!

One positives Indian fans can take from this match is the return of form of Sachin Tendulkar. He didn't look comfortable at the start of the innings against the quicks and it was lucky that the ball which he was bowled from Naved-ul-Hasan was a no-ball. He played the spinnners excellently though and the six of arshad khan was huge! The confidence Sachin has got from this century I think Sachin will play the quicks better for the rest of the series, hopefully.

Pakistan are using a rotation system to allow them to:

a) find new players for the World Cup
b) find players to replace ones that may retire in the near future
c) possibly just to give their top players a rest
