After an excellent although nerve racking win in the first final, Srilanka head to sydney to try to achieve the seemingly impossible beat Australia in a series final in Australia, can they do it?????

No way!

Not if they let the Aussies score 368 after reducing them to 10/3!

It was awesome to watch too. Ponting and Symonds really entertained the crowd. Murali finished with figures of 0/99 from his 10 overs.

I think a lot depends upon Jayasuria for SL to post a huge score or chasing down. I think if he gets a hundred then SL have a good chance but the Aussies are more than favourites to win and they have the class of players to do so.

Of course Sri Lanka CAN, but will they is the question. They have beaten Austalia before so they are capable of it but they need to at the top of their game and Australia need to be just off the top of theirs. i think the third match will be closer than the second but Australia will win.

The form that the Australians have re-discovered is just awesome and it is hard to imagine there will be any contest in the third final.

Re-discovered? Australia have been in form for the last 10+ years!

Sri Lanka can beat Australia, I think the SCG thumping could work in their favor

1. It gives them more motivation to go out there and beat the Aussies.

2. Australia could possibly take this next match as a walk over and find themselves in trouble.

Should be a good hard fought game either way, I really wanna see Jayasuriya get up and make a big hundred leading Sri Lanka to victory

Well the polls posted are almost at 50/50, the second final was a totally one sided one.... Australia came out to prove a point and they did it in style but... now at 1/1 the last match should be a thriller... Srilanka need to hold onto the catches though... Aussies dont give a lot of chances but when they do u gotta take it!!!!
