Since Greg Chappel has tooken over the Indian team Yuvraj Singh has become an different player. Before his attitude was all wrong, he looked very lazy whilst he was batting. But after Chappel took over, his attitude has changed and it has shown on the field, his batting is looking excellent. But one improvement for him would be the way he plays spinners.

I feel sorry for SreeSanath today, he bowled his heart out and got no reward in the end, looking at his figures it would suggest he bowled very badly which would have not been the case if the catches of his bowling were tooken. Lets just hope he is not dropped for the next game, he is one of Indian's best seamers.

Thumbs up Powar, Raina, Venugopal

I quite agree with your team, Waseem. Kaif deserves to spend time warming the benches. Raina must be wondering when he'll get to bat! I think if India win the next match, Chappell may try him out. Powar needs to be tested too. He's a smart offie and a very good lower order bat. If he clicks he would be the ideal supersub for India. You show confidence in this guy and he'll deliver.

The match was interestingly poised until one man, Mahendra Singh Dhoni came in. He blazed away to such an extent that he pummelled the opposition to submission. Once again his power was on display. Even the Pakistani President Gen. Musharraf congratulated and praised Dhoni on his wonderful innings although it was scored against Pakistan. This ODI has been the best among the 3 games played so far.

I agree with that statement. I think Dhoni has also provided the need for a keeper/batsmen although we've known that for donkey's years now. Sachin held the innings together and Yuvraj again is contributing. India now have a fair few middle order batsmen firing although as many of you have pointed out. Kaif is a worry and I think he should be dropped, make him the substitute IMO and bring him in if India bat second.

Pakistan need to seriously go back to the drawing board and pick out strategies to target each individual batsman in the indian team aswell as finding a way to make runs against pathan. Also our batting order has gone into a big mess and Inzamam i feel needs to be batting after shoaib malik at no 4. ALso our bowling has become very ordinary and with the exception of Asif our bowlers are getting slaughtered.

Here is what I think Pakistans team needs to be for the rest of the ODIs.

1.Imran Fahrat/or Butt[two consecitive 0's]
2.Kamran Akmal[they made him into a oppener]
3.Shoiab Malik[BEST FORM great batsman]
4.Inzamam-ul-Haq[This is INZI's orignal spot he plays great at this position not Yousuf
5.Younis Khan[in good form and can play deffensive]
6.Mohammad Yousuf[he is struggling try this position and see what hapeens more reledx I think]
7.Abdul Razzaq[WHAT A PLAYER]
8.Azher Mahmodd[since Afridi is injured he needs to get a recall]
9.Yasir Arafat[he played good in the last match]
10.Mohammad Asif[Pakistan's best bowler]
11.Arshad Khan[we need spin fast bowlers get tired they need rest he can bowl well.

Super Sub-eather thsese three choices A.Fasial Iqbal B.Mohammad Sami C.Rana Naveed or D.Other

For my pakistan team for the next odis, i would put in
Kamran Akmal - to face the first ball
Salman Butt/Imran Farhat
Shoaib Malik
Inzamam
Younis Khan
Mohammad Yousuf
Abdul Razzaq
Yasir Arafat
Mohammad Sami
Umar Gul
Mohammad Asif
SUPERSUB - ARSHAD KHAN OR FAISAL IQBAL/SALMAN BUTT/IMRAN FARHAT DEPENDING ON WHAT PAKISTAN WISH TO DO AT TOSS.
I agree with uham that azhar mahmood does deserve a recall, however i think he should be in the squad against england as he has experience from playing in england domestic cricket.

Azhar played well in English conditions...his bowling was solid and he could the ball a fair way down the order. I think he would be a good addition. Possibly as the super sub though.
