Arrow Shoaib Akhter doubtful for Srilanka series as well

Shoaib Akhtar is likely to miss Pakistan's tour of Sri Lanka in March, owing to a stress fracture in his left ankle, the Pakistan board have confirmed. Shoaib was recently ruled out of the ongoing one-day series against India and may need to gear up for a few months on the sidelines. Excatly what is going on here?????? all of his fans were thrilled at the way he was performing against england and then india and now suddenly this??? your comments ???

We can only guess. It could be any of the three actually but it will be better to accept the official version till we get a god reason to believe otherwise.

He's injured. Pakistan do NOT want to risk having him out long term when he's been told to rest when Pakistan have important series coming up this year. I think he would rather miss ODI's than test matches.
