5th ODI: Pakistan v India, Karachi.

We come down to the last match of this tour. The test series came alive only in the 3rd test, Pakistan winning it by a record margin. They won the 1st ODI as well and I believe they would have won it even if the D/L system hadnt come into effect. Then it was India all the way. Pakistan just 'switched off' after the 1st win and India made good of this opportunity, winning 3 games in a row and sealing the series in Multan itself. But this game still holds importance. Pakistan, ofcourse will be playing for pride, while India would be looking forward to test its new crop.

I've read Tendulkar and Pathan will be rested. Dravid will open with Gambhir. Raina and Kaif will be promoted in the batting order. Powar will get to bowl and maybe bat too. Kartik isnt expected to get another game today. Zaheer will play today as well. Crucial game for the like of Raina, Powar, Kaif, Zaheer and Agarkar.

India-Pakistan fans will be in dilemma as they'll have to keep switching between two games today-the 5th ODI and the U-19 World Cup Final!

India won the toss and will field.....again! I thought Chappell and Dravid will try to do things differently this time...Pakistan have replaced Butt with Farhat while Rao Iftikhar Anjum replaces Rana. Murali Kartik has been included as the supersub. His chances of getting to bowl are remote as India are fielding first and have gone in with 4 seamers and offie Powar.

Farhat OUT! Pakistan openers were having a pretty good time in the absence of Pathan and Farhat just now blew up a great opportunity to score over Butt. Sreesanth must be happy with this wicket, not only he got the wicket but also got to catch it himself! ;-)

Sreesanth strikes again! And again with a short one banged in! Pakistan 70/2!

There goes Mallik and he's numéro trois for Sreesanth! That makes it a wicket per over for him!

Pakistan 108/3, they seem to be getting back into the groove. Inzi needs to removed, bring on Tendulkar! Oh, he's not playing! Well how about trying Powar?

Powar removes Inzi! Inzi first whacked him for a maximum and next ball Powar traps him for lbw....actually Inzi was a bit unlucky this time...hard luck. But its a big moment for Powar, his 4th ODI and here his is 1st wicket and a big one!

Mohammed Yousuf completes his half-century. This has been a tough series for him. Now with Younis, he's rebuilding Pakistan's innings. One more wicket and Pakistan may not be able to recover.

Agarkar removes Yousuf but Pakistan are increasing their scoring rate! India need more wickets!

239/6. I think Pakistan should have done better. But still they will end up with a fighting total and the Indian innings will be interesting to watch.
