Me, i personally dont like the idea of a twenty20 international event as i see this in the long term as a full replacement to the 50 over game and the twenty20 doesnt demonstrate the skill cricketers use. if there is to be a inaugural twenty20 event the icc have to let all countries including asian countries to experience this type of game but i believe doing this is overusing the format. i would rather watch a team build up a platform in the beginning of a innings, go through the middle overs and then see a slog fest in the last 5-10 overs rather then watch a slog fest in a twenty20 game. however if india are using the reason that the icc are only doing this for financial reasons then that will make them hypocrites as india wish to do the same with trying to play more games with australia pakistan and england out of the future tour programmes.

India is a cricketing mad nation, so I fail to see how any form of the game wouldn't generate money. If it's because they are worried the players schedule is to much, then put in a second string team.

If its properly organised it could all be done in about 10days. If you play under lights you could get 3 games a day in easily
