Australia vs. South Africa ODIs

As in VB series South Africa lose to Aussie side and also Sri Lankan side. They were playing without Nel, Kallis and Ntini. But now they also have home advantage and also Nel and Ntini.
Would South Africa Be able to defeat Australia or Australia will show again that they are best?

I think Australia will win the series and will be the champions again.

I agree that the Aussies will win, I think it will be a close series and SA I think could take a couple of victories. Without Kallis the SA batting order looks weak, Smith out of sorts. The only solid performer being Dippenar but he isn't hugely consistent and it can't be relied up on him to score all the runs.

Nobody should rule out SA from winning. With the players they have back they should at least mount a very good challange and ofcourse if the likes of Kallais and Nittini fire then they could change a match.

Lets also not forget that The aussies were a bit scetchy in the VB series, either brilliant or horrible.

My big interest is in Johnson, averaged 41 with the bowl this season but still made the ODI squad on the basis of his potential... will it bring the best out of him?

Don't know about MJ...joker in the pack but wasn't impressive in his one performance in NZ.

Will be interesting to see the reception we get from the crowds but I think we'll coast home. 4-1.

Voted for Australia.A lot will depend on whether Kallis is back or not to stabalise the South African batting.

Kallis isn't playing in the ODI's I don't think. Although SA do have their strike bowlers back I think Australia's batting is good enough to combat this.
