Zimbabwe vs. Kenya, 5 ODI Series

Zimbabwe squad Terrence Duffin (capt), Elton Chigumbura, Keith Dabengwa, Ryan Higgins, Anthony Ireland, Blessing Mahwire, Hamilton Masakadza, Keegan Meth, Waddington Mwayenga, Edward Rainsford, Piet Rinke, Gregory Strydom, Brendan Taylor, Prosper Utseya.

We've got a bit of raw talent in that squad but they haven't chosen Bryan Strang, who is staying in Zimbabwe and trying to pass on his expertise. He reckons that you can't give up on the children. Strang was told by ZC that he is "too old" to play. Again proving that ZC are a bunch of collective dickheads.

I expect Kenya to wallop us to be honest- 4-1 or 5-0. Zimbabwe MUST make this as the squad for going forward. Looking forward to seeing Rinke and Strydom play. Where's de Grandhomme though?

Kenya made a competetive total of 228-9 after an 84 from the opener Otieno. In response Zimbabwe are currently 126-1 after 25 overs.

Woohoo!

Our first win in quite some time! Maybe we will beat Kenya. Though it'll mean nothing short time, it'll show that there may be something to work with. Then again we've got nobody to help hone those skills.

2nd ODI

Kenya posted a very imposing total 284-7 with 98 coming from Tikolo. In reply Zimababwe lost a couple of early wickets but things are settling down at 69-2 with Rinke and Taylor at the crease with 36 and 7 respectively. BBC Link here.

It all seems to be going down hill for Zimbabwe now, the Kenyan bowlers are on top with all batsmen failing to pass twenty runs so far with the only resistance from Rinke with 52. Currently 115-5.

4th ODI

Zimbabwe batting first have again collapsed in the lower order and are currently 231-9. A good 72 from Rinke at the top of the order with nothing else that really shines. Kenya I feel should get to the target set with ease.

Well I was completely wrong. BBC report here. Zimbabwe thrased Kenya by 109 runs to leave the series 2-2. Performances seem very up and down from both sides at the moment.
