Sri Lanka continued their bad performance in One Day International after losing the three match series to Pakistan 2-0.The first one was abandoned due to rain and Pakistan came back strongly after losing to India 4-1.

Sri Lanka were ranked second in November 2005 just before the start of their tour to India.They lost to India 6-1 in the seven match series.That's when it all started.Now,after 5 months,they dropped 5 rungs to the 7th spot.

Well i dont think they performed that badly in this series... remember pakistan was playing with their full team except shoaib and srilanka had sanath jaysuria.. marvin attapattu and vaas missing even if you equate vaas being out to shoaib their captain and best batsman were out.. would have been much tougher for Pakistan if they were playing.

Good point there.Sri Lanka didn't have their full team.

The missing ones,Vaas and Jayasuriya will miss the first test most likely but they might play the second.

Sri Lanka have just been out of touch.They aren't a bad team.A battle between two good teams like Pakistan and Sri Lanka should have more matches in a series.They just had three One Day Internationals and will play just two test matches.

shri lanka are like india they have not got a good seam attack and they depend on murali all the time but he does produce the goods

Lasith Malinga was good in India.Even Fernando and Zoysa.
